Summary
Training Manager/Designer for Wargaming educational courses, from Level 1 introductory to Level 2, 3 and onto Level 4 Expert competency, ensuring DSAT alignment throughout.
Defence Academy focus/SME for Defence Wargaming.
Provide direct Wargaming and educational advice and support to the Wargaming Hub.
Provide Wargaming and educational advice to wider MOD, PAGs, Allies and Partner Nations.
Provide courses and directed research SME advice support of the Academic Partner contract.
Act as the Training Manager/Designer for Wargame-related MOD bespoke training, income generation, including OGDs, Allies and Partner Nations, and the Academic Partner. Private Venture courses in the UK and overseas.
Apply wargaming (or wargaming techniques) to assist in other educational course delivery at the Defence Academy to obtain specified learning outcomes.
Fulfil all staff obligations as laid out in the Civil Service ‘Deal’ and D&I mandatory objectives and undertake learning and development and upskilling as required.
Undertake any other tasks in support of the College as directed by Head DWMSS and/or Head TCG.
Remote working within this role is something that can be discussed at interview stages or with your future line manager if you are found successful.
