Summary
Main objectives of the role are;
Project/Programme Delivery
Defining and project managing the Future Technical Academic Provider project and approach.
Defining and securing resources to develop the training and education.
Defining and delivering in support of schools, future training design and development projects and wider DCMCI projects.
Champion for Project Delivery within DCMCI.
Stakeholder Management
Working with stakeholders to understand and refine current and future requirements.
Forging and maintaining strategic partnerships and relationships with all internal and external stakeholders including suppliers and partners.
Leading external project engagement plan.
Working across Defence Academy to understand and manage dependencies and the impact of new requirements i.e infrastructure.
Working closely with the Defence Academy Portfolio Office feeding into the Future Academic Provider programme.
Leadership
Providing confident, inspiring, and empowering leadership, supporting colleagues across the college and wider Academy.
Championing and leading by example in every aspect of promoting diversity, and the development of and leadership quality of MOD and Civil Service talent.
Corporate
DCMCI lead into Future Campus concept (DefAc 2030) supporting development to whole force campus.
Lead activities in support of wider DCMCI and Defence Academy as directed.
Line Management
Undertake line management, mentoring and countersigning tasks as required by the role. This role has 1 direct report.
Learning and Development
Undertake learning and development and upskilling as required.
