Summary
Main responsibilities of the Cyber Trainer role(s) are:
To provide learning outcomes as a Defence Cyber Academy (DCA) trainer, in support of the Cyber Foundation Pathway (CFP) and Cyber Role Training (CyRT). Such learning may be delivered in an online or traditional classroom environment. Provide suitable lesson planning to support the learning outputs.
Support the design, development, organisation, management, delivery, and continuous improvement of the curriculum and future courses as they are developed.
As a DCA Trainer, maintain relevant learning materials and configure teaching environments as required. Support JSP822 documentation requirements as appropriate and keep appropriate records of learning outputs as required.
Support the compilation of appropriate feedback and statistics and undertaking observations and internal validation as required. Assess other learning programs for suitability of use by DCA in support of requested training or related tasks.
Undertake learning and development and upskilling as required. This could involve engaging in activities pertinent to the role to maintain currency, corporate knowledge, personal skills. This includes mandatory training.
