Please see attached a Job description and Person Specification for this role with key duties and responsibilities As the Assistant Director of Communications and Campaigns, you will lead our SEL wide communications team and play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering high quality communications. Your aims will be threefold: 1. Lead, support and add value: Ensure the successful delivery of ICB projects and programmes by providing strategic communication advice and support.2. Inspire and engage: Keep our stakeholders including staff, patients, communities, and partners informed, inspired, and engaged through compelling messaging and effective stakeholder and media management.3. Build our reputation: Proactively promote the work of the ICB and the broader South East London Integrated Care System, enhancing our public profile and stakeholder relationships.Key Responsibilities Strategic leadership: Develop and deliver comprehensive communication and engagement strategies that align with our organisational objectives. Provide senior leadership to campaigns to promote positive health outcomes and work with other senior leads to ensure there is effective synergy between central and place-based communications efforts. Media management: Oversee media relations, provide expert advice on handling media enquiries, and manage the organisations reputation during crises or sensitive situations. Stakeholder engagement: Cultivate and manage strong relationships with key stakeholders, including local councils, MPs, and community organisations, ensuring our initiatives resonate with the communities we serve. Team leadership: Lead a team of communication professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. Drive the creation of impactful content and ensure the successful delivery of communication projects within budget and timelines. Digital innovation: Collaborate on the development of our digital communication and engagement strategy, harnessing the latest digital tools and platforms to enhance our engagement and reach.Why join us?
