We have an exciting permanent opportunity to join our Digital & Transformation Team in the Data & Business Intelligence service in a key role contributing to the successful delivery of the Council’s data vision and strategy.

The post holder will play an important professional role in supporting, maintaining and utilising the portfolio of applications, tools and technologies that will enable the integration, analysis, reporting and visualisation of data in order to deliver tangible business benefits to the Council, its residents and communities.

As part of this role you will be responsible for in the delivery of the Data & Business Intelligence Teams regular cyclical functions including: generating and updating the corporate reports and analysis by providing summary analysis for strategic planning (e.g. socio-economic overviews/planning for the future).

We need someone to undertake appropriate business process analysis, data analysis to develop low-code solutions, data flows, reporting and automated dashboards for projects and service business units.

The post holder will undertake elements of system administration, user support and training for applications overseen by the Data & Business Intelligence Team including SAP Business Objects Business Intelligence.

The successful candidate will hold a degree in a related Data, Business Analysis or ICT related discipline(s) alongside of experience of using Power Apps.

Your strong communication skills will be crucial in building relationships and communicating insights & recommendations with stakeholders at all levels in the organisation.

*Depending upon the needs of the service, staff in Hybrid roles will typically work from home for up to 40-60% of the time where the needs of the service can still be met.
