About the role:
The Service Support Officer will be expected to undertake a variety of administration duties associated with a busy office environment, including overseeing email accounts, responding to telephone calls, handling incoming and outgoing correspondence, setting up meetings, minute taking and dealing with administrative duties relating to council owned land and properties.
The postholder will also be required to input, update and extract information from IT systems (specifically Asset Manager, Civica Financials and Civica Purchasing), collate data including financial information, maintain electronic database records and where appropriate website-based records.
About the Candidate:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with a minimum of 3 years’ experience working within an administrative /local authority setting with a minimum of 5 GCSE or equivalent. The opportunity would suit someone who is methodical, has good attention to detail, a high level of computer literacy, good communication skills and an enthusiastic and positive approach to work. A background in property would be a distinct advantage.
