For further information on this role, please see the attached detailed Job Description and Person Specification: Contribute to ensuring that the corporate aims and vision of the Trust relating to Clinical Services are achieved. To set the vision and determine the objectives of Clinical Services, monitor performance against these and take corrective action where appropriate. To lead, manage and develop a culture and environment where safe and high quality patient care is consistently delivered across Clinical services. To lead Clinical Services in the planning of service developments (including new networks and substantial capital development) which most appropriately meet the needs of patients and achieve the maximum service return on the resources invested. Ensure Clinical Services are able to meet all national and local performance standards taking corrective action where necessary. To work with all staff to develop changes in clinical practice through the development of research and evidence based practice which compliments the Trust Business Strategy: promote effective leadership by empowering individuals to take appropriate decisions and encourage team working
