Job Description
Post Title: Business Gateway Adviser
Location: Flexible Office-based and home. The current geographic area covered by this post is Caithness and North Sutherland.
Hours: 35 hours per week
Duration: Permanent
Salary: £37,146 - £ 40,258 p.a.
Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.

Job Purpose: Provision of one-to-one business advisory services to pre-starts, start-ups, existing and growing businesses. Represent Business Gateway as a professional, accessible, and flexible service making a significant contribution to the local economy.

Requirements
Desirable to hold a Degree or equivalent in an appropriate discipline.
Desirable to hold a qualification in business management.
Business accreditation and/or a training qualification desirable.
Full driving licence.
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications for office functions and presentations. ass="NormalTextRun SCXW35785948 BCX8">Familiarity with social media.
Experience in the delivery of business support, advice and training.
Experience of enterprise/development agency work or financial services.
