The EOC Quality and Compliance Facilitator will provide support to the Quality pillar with the administrative functions and requirements of the Team.

The post holder will support EOC audit and compliance related activities which include Health and Safety Inspections, and Infection Prevention and Control Audits, as well as EOC Compliance Reporting, Quality Control, and Governance of EOC Procedures and Processes, Engagement and Communications.

The post holder will support the EOC Managers for Document Quality, Communications and Engagement, as well as EOC Compliance and Assurance to deliver a robust, effective, and safe service, which ensures the wider EOC Teams have all the tools required to deliver outstanding patient care.

The post holder will support relevant EOC Managers across the Quality pillar to deliver on associated objectives, activities and workstreams, including quality control, and assurance processes for policy/procedural documents.





The post holder will create and implement robust communications and engagement plans, and facilitate staff communications and engagement, whilst supporting compliance and assurance functions to ensure best practice methods which will allow EOC staff to practice safely and effectively to meet the standards required by the business unit, wider Trust, and regulatory bodies.

The post holder will need to perform well under pressure, be highly motivated and able to self-manage several complex workstreams whilst multitasking and prioritising conflicting deadlines and demands.

The post holder will be required to work well as part of a team, have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and build good relationships across all levels whilst ensuring they always act in a professional and confidential manner.


EEAST employs over 5,000 staff with a further 1,000+ volunteers who between them cover 7,500 square miles and care for a population of more than 6 million.

Our three control rooms in Bedfordshire, Norfolk and Essex handle more than 1 million 999 calls every year, over 2,500 calls a day.

We manage a fleet of over 1,000 vehicles including double staffed ambulances, rapid response cars, operational commander response vehicles, patient transport and support service vehicles.

The East of England works alongside 17 Acute Trusts with Accident & Emergency services and a Major Trauma Centre in Cambridge. Access is available to neighbouring MTCs such as those in London.
