The position offers an exciting opportunity for an individual with good presentation, leadership and management skills and an ability to communicate clearly to guide and influence a wide range of teams to support delivery of critical military capabilities.
Working as part of the project team, the role leads on the collection, challenge, verification and funding of infrastructure requirements ensuring the outputs adhere to Navy Command’s processes and operating procedures.
As the Senior Requirements Manager you will work closely with a broad range of customers, delivery and scrutiny team members. You will ensure infrastructure projects are accurately defined and funded, and delivered safely, securely, and effectively. This includes developing infrastructure requirements documents, identifying options, analysing and down selecting options, developing preferred options, and producing, reviewing and submitting business case documentation.
A key part of the role will be the production of coherent and consistent business cases and to work with the Project Team to generate the required supporting documents and evidence. You will engage with Ministry of Defence scrutiny teams to agree and review evidence prior to the agreed business case submission date. You will be required to identify relevant factors which may affect each business case approval by analysing evidence with the project team to ensure this meets the required standard.
Line Management responsibility for one member of staff.
