Summary

We have an exciting and rare opportunity to join the Cyber Security team as a Database Analyst. Working within the Clyde Security Organisation this is a high-profile position responsible for supporting and implementing a range of initiatives which are focussed on ensuring the Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability of security and system information.

Working alongside a tight knit team of like-minded professionals you will assist with the development and management of Cyber Security information repositories and support the implementation of risk mitigation plans by providing accurate and verified data to relevant stakeholders. This role will primarily focus on optimising data collection, data management and system development to support data-driven decision making within Clyde Security Organisation.

We are looking for someone that can support the positive inclusion of cyber security principles by building and maintaining relationships across departments, units, partner agencies and contractors. In addition, the post holder will work with a wide range of internal Clyde teams to gather and collate information and data in support of Cyber Security initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Support and maintain HMNB Clyde Cyber Security intranet pages and locally managed SharePoints and MS Team sites. Including streamlining information flows, reviewing data holdings and making improvements where required.
Manage a suite of documents, application forms and process maps owned by the Cyber Security Team.
Develop and manage a System Database including collating risk assessment information and actions. Liaise with System Managers to ensure relevant Cyber Security information is captured and maintained.
Manage and collate system information in order to undertake data analysis for reporting & trend analysis, which support and advise senior partners.
Support development of trend analysis and dashboard reporting for Defensive Cyber Capability (DCC) at HMNB Clyde.
Conduct routine trend analysis of information repositories, interpreting data to identify insights which can be used to inform Cyber Security decisions.
Develop and manage local MODCERT reporting procedures including establishing and maintaining points of contacts for individual systems.
Collate and track Cyber Security education and culture activities ensuring accurate records are maintained.
