Summary
With significant investment underway at HMNB Clyde to prepare for the arrival of two new classes of submarine and future military capabilities, this is an exciting opportunity to contribute directly to the operational effectiveness and wellbeing of Royal Navy personnel. As the military population at HMNB Clyde continues to grow, this role is critical in ensuring that accommodation provision keeps pace with demand and reflects modern standards of living.
As the Accommodation Strategy and Plans Lead, you will be responsible for developing and delivering both short- and long-term plans to improve the quality, availability, and modernisation of lived accommodation across the site. You will lead the coordination and oversight of accommodation-related projects, ensuring that the evolving needs of the base population are met effectively and efficiently.
This will include:
Supporting improvements to the quality, availability, and modernisation of lived accommodation across the site.
Acting as the Intelligent Customer, representing user needs and ensuring delivery partners meet required standards.
Serving as the key interface between Defence infrastructure stakeholders and accommodation service providers.
Shaping and implementing changes to accommodation strategy in line with evolving Defence policy and operational requirements.
Ensuring that accommodation supports the health, wellbeing, and operational readiness of Service personnel.
Delivering tangible improvements to the lived experience of personnel through planning and project oversight.
