We are looking for a motivated person to join our Department as a Band 4 Research & Development Administrator.
The post-holder will need exceptional organisation skills with an attention to detail and the ability to use their own initiative.
Research is crucial to supporting our communities health and wellbeing now and in the future.
Within this role you will form a pivotal role within Research and Development Office providing administrative support to the senior leadership team, working with the R&D digital change lead to identify and implement innovative solutions.
To support the efficiency and wellbeing of our teams and support the effective management of the department.
In this role, you will:
To provide administrative support to the R&D senior leadership team and office, overseeing general administrative responsibility for the office and its responsibilities.
To provide reception duties, escalating issues to the team and where appropriate through email, telephone, Microsoft Teams / digital solutions and face to face.
You will be expected to be able to prioritise your work to meet deadlines and use your judgement to escalate issues or identify innovations which can benefit the role / department.

Research and Development at NBT
The R&D department consists of approximately 150 nurses, midwives, healthcare professionals, administrators and support staff who, collectively, recruit and care for over 8000 patients and participants a year.
NBT is the 9thlargest research grant managing Trust in the country.
