Title - Health and Safety Administrator

Location - Driffield, North Humberside, YO25 9HD

Main purpose of the role/Key objectives

To support the Health and Safety team with all administration and coordination. The Health and Safety Administrator contributes to the overall efficiency and productivity of the team by maintaining organised systems and providing support on policies, practices, and processes across our offices, factory and construction sites. To ensure that Reds10 are fully compliant with Health and Safety legislation and that Health and Safety policies, processes, and systems are well maintained.

Accountabilities

Management of Health and Safety related records and documentation in line with company policy and legal requirements

Support to the ISO Manager in the maintenance of audit schedules/reports/registers relating to Health and Safety in manufacturing and operations

System management, checking compliance and communication

Effective support to the Health and Safety Lead and Advisor

Compliance with all Reds10 ISO requirements such as following company policies and procedures, attending compulsory training sessions and actively working towards objectives

Roles and responsibilities

Manage the Health and Safety inbox

Act as the primary point of contact for the team

Maintain and update our Health and Safety systems, documentation, templates and filing systems

Collate data for reports regarding KPI’s AFR, LTI, etc.

Manage the new starter Health and Safety induction process

Support with the administration and coordination on a number of projects, including the occupational health programme

Assist the Learning and Development team with booking and arranging training courses, including health and safety training for our factory and site teams, maintaining an up-to-date log to ensure we are compliant as a business

Support the Learning and Development team with the maintenance of training logs, completion dates, course certificates, and expiry dates

Ensure the company complies with current regulations, accepted professional standards, GDPR, and employment law legislation 


Key skills

Experience in undertaking administrative duties in an office environment

Excellent organisational skills

Comprehensive attention to detail

Strong communication skills, ability to write and express information clearly and concisely 

Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, dealing effectively with complex and competing demands 

Ability to work independently and to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately  

Proactive, with a great eye for detail 

Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office applications and other systems.

Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations/documentation an advantage but not essential
