As part of this new team, you will become an integral part of the fantastic service we provide to our customers across the wider PSPS geography encompassing Boston Borough, East Lindsey and South Holland residents - supporting with any queries relating to Council Tax, Housing Benefit and Council Tax Support.
Typical duties:
You will be the first point of contact for all customer enquiries via various channels, taking prompt ownership and using initiative to diagnose and resolve at first contact where possible including answering all incoming calls in a busy Call Centre environment.
Responsible for maintaining and improving levels of customer satisfaction.
To support delivery against the Service KPI’s and SLAs through own performance standards.

What we need from you:
Previous experience working in a customer focused environment
Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills such as being able to demonstrate empathy and listen effectively but assertive where necessary.
GCSE Level C or above (or equivalent ) in English
Strong ICT Skills with good working knowledge of Microsoft packages and ability to learn new systems quickly

PSPS (Public Sector Partnership Services) is a Local Authority Trading Company (LATCo) which is wholly owned by East Lindsey District Council, South Holland District Council and Boston Borough Council. The Company operates from its offices in Spalding, Boston, and Horncastle. The Company provides a range of services including Human Resources & Payroll, Financial Services, Procurement & Contracts, ICT (Information and Communications Technology) & Digital, Customer Contact, Revenues & Benefits, Health & Safety, and a range of Corporate Support services.
