Salary:£26,873 - £28,770 Pro Rata Hours per week:37 hours Temporary/Fixed term:46 Weeks Interview date:Wednesday 3 July 2024 Adult MASH Information Officers - An exciting opportunity has arisen as our Adult MASH Team are looking to recruit an Information Officer on a 46 week fixed term contract to support the consistency of their high-quality service. As an Information Officer, you will be part of a team that responds to Adult Safeguarding Concerns supporting Investigating Managers by gathering high quality information. The role of the Information Officers is entirely communication based and the post holders will be at ease with customers, and able to quickly build relationships with them over the telephone. You will be working with both members of the public and professionals in external agencies and organisations. The key focus of this service is to support adults at risk in Wiltshire to feel and be safe. This holistic approach and the support that you will offer, will be essential in the service achieving this. The role of Information Officer is an excellent opportunity for you to demonstrate your customer service skills and gain specialist safeguarding experience as part of a supportive, collaborative, and multi-disciplinary team. We are looking for people with social care and customer service experience, who have the key listening and communication skills to build effective relationships with people in order to achieve positive outcomes. It is a role in which you will need a calm and mature attitude and will have to manage information of a highly confidential, sensitive, and sometimes difficult nature. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be self-motivated and able to operate in a busy and fast environment.
