Waste management - Shaping a Greener, More Sustainable Future

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Waste Service Team at Wiltshire Council as a Waste Support Officer. We welcome part-time applications.

Our Waste Service oversees the crucial tasks of procuring and executing statutory waste management processes for Wiltshire Council. This includes managing waste disposal, diverting waste from landfills, and implementing various waste management contracts. We are seeking a candidate with well-developed ICT skills and with proven ability to work with information systems and databases, including Microsoft Access and Excel. Excellent communication skills alongside the ability to handle complaints and concerns sypathetically and positively will be essential.
