An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will focus on developing a strategic approach to quality improvement and contribute to shaping our future direction. As the Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving change, managing our business support teams, managing projects, optimising our workforce, and deputising for the Operational Manager. Your leadership will be key to enhancing service delivery, ensuring operational efficiency, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

In this role, you'll be part of a supportive team with varied responsibilities. We offer ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your personal and professional growth. We also provide a flexible work environment with options for remote working.
• Manage business support teams.
• Identify opportunities for service development.
• Develop strategic approaches for quality improvement.
• Project management
• Deputise for the Operational Manager.
• Workforce planning.
• Demonstrate strong leadership and excellent communication skills.
• Contribute to the service plans.
• Analyse data for forecasting service trends.
• Monitor patient experience and incorporate feedback
• Contribute to internal and external service evaluations.

The “must haves” for this role:
1. . Relevant First Degree and recognised management qualification at postgraduate level and/or experience.
2. . Experience of operational and staff management in the NHS
3. . Ability to analyse and effectively present performance data, problem solve, and develop solutions to issues.
4. . Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to influence and negotiate at a senior level within the service and wider trust.
