Are you passionate about technology and eager to kickstart your career in the dynamic field of application support? We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team Business Applications team as an Apprentice IT Application Support Analyst.

This apprenticeship programme offers an exciting entry point into the world of day-to-day application support. You'll have the opportunity to work alongside experienced Trainees, Analysts, and Leads, actively contributing to the triage process and ensuring a seamless transition from the service desk to the application support team. Alongside completing a Level 3 ICT apprenticeship.

Overview of the role:

The successful candidate will be using our internal helpdesk systems. Key responsibilities include maintaining up-to-date records and providing the support team with pertinent information for thorough investigation. This includes mandatory data, screenshots, and step-by-step replication of issues reported by customers. Additionally, part of the role is to inform customers of the ticket ownership within our team.

The apprenticeship learning will support your development and chosen career path. Whilst undertaking your learning programme, your manager will help guide your development and day-to-day work, a mentor will provide extra support throughout your role, and you'll be working alongside experienced colleagues to learn hands-on, work-based skills.

The Apprentice IT Applications Support Analyst will:

- Contribute to business performance and customer service delivery whilst operating in line with L&Q’s values.
- Work closely with Trainees/Analysts/Leads, as well as service desk and other IT functions.
- Build knowledge of L&Q’s individual applications.
- Liaise with third party suppliers and monitoring outstanding requests.
- Work with the Cherwell system to solve basic requests and keep users updated.

Skills and Experience:

- Enthusiasm for the role and L&Q.
- IT literate – basic knowledge and interest in Technology.
- Strong numeracy skills
- Ability to understand and be understood, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work independently, as well as being a good team player.
- Good organisational skills and ability to manage/prioritise own workload.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn and grow with a positive attitude to work.
- GCSEs in English and Maths, Grade C / Grade 4 or above.
- Flexibility to accommodate office days for collaboration.

Apprenticeship details: Information Communications Technician Level 3 with Apprentify.
