We have a wonderful opportunity for a Band 5 Nurse role within the Specialist ADHD Pathway in our Windsor, Ascot & Maidenhead locality.
The ADHD Team sits within the Neurodiversity Service in Children, Families and All Age Services (CFAA). We offer assessment and treatment to children and young people aged 6-18.
We are looking for a newly qualified nurse who wants to start their career in working in the community with children and young people who have received a diagnosis of ADHD or a qualified nurse, who is passionate about working with neurodiverse children and wants a change in their career and specialise in this field.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a county whose commissioners are highlighting that ADHD and Autism are areas to invest in.
You will join an experienced & dedicated team that work across Berkshire who provide ADHD assessments and on-going care to children, young people and families.
This Band 5 role is based in Slough but we have a satellite clinic in Maidenhead.
The main responsibilities of the role will be managing a caseload of children and young people who have an existing diagnosis of ADHD and to arrange and conduct their medication reviews which include taking some physical observations.
You may have to make onward referrals to other services within the CFAA division.
We work closely with other teams within the CFAA service as well as partnership agencies and voluntary services that support children, young people and families pre and post assessment. The Team also offers support to families via the innovative online platform SHaRON (Support Hope and Resources Online)

The “must haves” for this role:
• A mental health, learning disability or paediatric nurse
• Able to work flexibly in response to service need
• Able to take responsibility for devising care plans following reviews for each child, young person and their families
• Take responsibility for case management
