A Vacancy at Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust.

We are pleased to offer the opportunity to join our dynamic, motivated and cohesive team at Salford Royal Hospital, Pre-operative assessment Department.

Working as a competent registered nurse you will provide full, accurate and comprehensive anaesthetic assessments of patients' suitability for surgery, (predominantly orthopaedic, ENT, gynaecology, neurology and general surgery) in accordance with Trust standards and protocols.

As an autonomous practitioner you will be expected to manage your patient workload each day, referring patients for ongoing investigations, back to General Practitioner for further Consultant Anaesthetic review, or pass fit to proceed to surgery.

Whilst previous experience is an advantage it is not essential as supportive colleagues will provide training and guidance for you to develop the important assessment skills in order for you to meet the requirements of this demanding but rewarding role.

This is a face-to-face role.
