Description
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Resident Liaison Officer to join our Fire Safety Team in the Housing industry. As a Resident Liaison Officer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents by effectively communicating and coordinating fire safety measures.
As a Resident Liaison Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing fire safety protocols, maintaining a safe environment, and ensuring compliance with fire safety regulations. You will serve as the main point of contact for residents regarding any fire safety concerns or inquiries, providing them with accurate and timely information. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with internal departments and external authorities to implement fire safety plans and procedures.
This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires excellent communication and organizational skills. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, resourceful, and able to work well under pressure. Previous experience in a similar role, knowledge of fire safety regulations, and strong problem-solving abilities are highly desired.
Responsibilities
Serve as the main point of contact for residents regarding fire safety concerns or inquiries
Communicate and coordinate fire safety measures with residents and internal departments
Implement fire safety plans and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulations
Conduct regular inspections of fire safety equipment and systems
Collaborate with external authorities, such as fire departments, to ensure compliance and participate in safety drills
Respond to emergencies and take appropriate action in accordance with established protocols
Keep accurate records of fire safety inspections and incident reports
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a resident liaison or fire safety role
Proficient knowledge of fire safety regulations and procedures
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Flexibility to handle emergencies and work outside regular hours when needed
Hours Per Week: 36:00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:30
Pay Per Hour: £21.18
