Are you looking for a rewarding role where you can work to help people feel empowered to live as independently as possible, even
when they are at the most vulnerable?
Aspens could be the perfect workplace for you!
Rose is a new Positive Behaviour Support Specialist Service centred at the heart of our idyllic residential site in Pembury, Kent.
As Waking Night Support Worker you will contribute to the team by providing vital 1:1 support to a young gentleman J, who will
shortly be making his transition to his new home in Rose. This role is perfect for a Night Owl, as you will be able to enjoy the
quiet hours whilst completing tasks such as cleaning, ironing, monitoring J throughout the night and supporting him with anything
he may need during these hours.
You'll also be responsible for carrying out the person-centred support plans (including personal care) and following risk
assessments, administering medication and completing nightly reports to ensure that J and all of those we care for are safeguarded
while living their best life.
About You:
We are looking for friendly, hard-working people with a fun spirit and a good sense of humour to join our team of support staff.
As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will either need to be experienced in supporting or caring for someone in a professional
setting or have skills learned from other professional roles that can transfer to this setting.
This means if you have supported people with learning disabilities, autism, dementia or mental health in the past or if you have
dealt with challenging professional situations with members of the public then you'll have the skills to be able to effectively
make a difference to the people living in our care services!
What Aspens can offer you:
* Full Care Certificate Training and specialist training such as Emergency First Aid
* Career progression including recognised qualifications within Health & Social Care
* A flexible working pattern (such as 4 nights on, 4 nights off)
* Additional Bank shifts
* 30 days annual leave (including bank holidays)
* Nest pension
* Shuttle service to/from local stations
