The Cardiovascular CAG is offering an exciting opportunity to join the Barts Heart Centre’s cardiology services. We are looking for enthusiastic individual who will be responsible for admitted care to patients on the ward and will supply an administrative support to patients and NHS staff

North and East London has some of the most dynamic and talented cardiovascular experts nationally and internationally. Clinicians from Barts Health NHS Trust, University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (UCLH) and further afield are working together to create a single specialist centre for cardiovascular disease to cover all our local communities. You will be joining us at an incredibly exciting time, as we realise a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to improve services for patients and secure them for future generations in creating a world class cardiovascular service.

Barts Heart Centre at St Bartholomew’s Hospital opened in early 2015. The service allows us to bring together our existing unique experience and research activity. We are now able to increase our understanding of and ability to address the root causes of cardiovascular diseases by growing the number of patients who get the chance to take part in clinical trials and research.

The aim of the role is to provide professional administrative support to the third floor admin team ensuring the provision of an excellent “front of house” and administrative service. In conjunction with the medical and nursing team provide seamless care for the Trust’s patients ensuring that all patients, relatives and visitors to the department are dealt with in a courteous manner at all times
