About The Role

Do you have a passion for designing, implementing and improving a range of talent management and learning activities? If so, we want to hear from you.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Talent Development Manager to join us on a fixed term contract until 13 June 2025.

You will primarily be responsible for the successful implementation and development of LiveWest's Development and Performance System (DaPS) and our succession planning process. With the succession planning process in place, you will work with the business to identify key talent pools, and to create meaningful development programmes and tools to support their growth.

In addition, you will ensure that a range of high quality learning artefacts are available relating to the skills, knowledge and behaviours required at each level of work within LiveWest.

The Talent Development Manager is responsible for the leadership of a Learning and Talent Adviser, as well as contributing positively to the broader Learning and Talent team.

This role is being offered on a full time, fixed term basis until 13 June 2025 and can be based in our Exeter, Tolvaddon or Weston-super-Mare offices. A hybrid working style is an option.

About The Candidate

To be considered for the role of Talent Development Manager, you will be / have:

- Experience of utilising, maximising and promoting performance and talent development systems.
- Strong learning design skills, across a range of media and using 70:20:10 methodology.
- Experienced and engaging facilitator and presenter.
- Experience of managing Succession planning processes.
- Ability to create and successfully implement a range of Talent development initiatives.
- Ability to act as an internal consultant – to listen, challenge, collaborate, recommend and design pragmatic solutions.
- MCIPD or equivalent experience.
