Summary

An exciting, new, 9 month interim opportunity has become available for a Project Manager to work on high priority, cross functional, complex Save to Invest projects across Booker.

Working in the newly formed Transformation Team, and as a project expert you will need to be able to work across business functions and respond to challenges that are often new for everyone involved.

This role presents an opportunity to work across many functions, shaping and developing initiatives. There will be multiple programmes and a shifting focus, as one piece of work is completed, and another starts.

The role is ideal if you are interested in building a broader network and gain experience working across multiple functions. The position will also provide a great opportunity for somebody to hone their project management skills - bringing clarity and structure where no precedent exists, flexing their leadership style through leading peers and more senior colleagues to deliver critical business priorities.

  • A track record in defining and scoping the projects / programmes you lead, establishing clear direction and alignment by ensuring a clear vision, objectives and plan are in place.
  • The ability to quickly establish and then facilitate the appropriate levels of governance to provide oversight and direction for the projects/programmes.
  • First class communication skills, allowing you to quickly engage, align, and influence stakeholders across all levels to deliver business objectives.
  • A natural ability to manage interdependencies and impacts across projects / programmes.
  • A track record of driving progress in a consistent, transparent way, whilst identifying and managing issues, risks, and opportunities.
  • Previous project management experience is advantageous for this role.
