Summary

At Glasgow Clyde College, we are dedicated to providing exceptional access to knowledge and support. We are seeking a transformational leader to drive the evolution of our Library services into a dynamic, digital-first environment. This role is pivotal in leading strategic innovation, fostering digital literacy, and placing the student experience at the heart of everything we do.

As the Interim Head of Library Transformation, you will lead the strategic development of our library services, drive innovation in digital resource provision, and manage change initiatives to foster cultural transformation. You will build collaborative relationships with academic and support staff, oversee Library Management Systems and digital platforms, and inspire and develop the library team. Additionally, you will manage budgets, monitor service performance, and represent the College at various forums.

To be successful, you will need a degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline. A recognised qualification in change or project management is essential. While some knowledge of library services and digital literacy would be beneficial, a proven track record in leading digital transformation is crucial. Excellent communication, leadership, and report writing skills are also essential.
