Barley Close Primary School is looking for a teacher assistant to
• Support children with complex needs. Further information can be shared by contacting Jo Williams, Headteacher or when visiting the school.
THE RIGHT CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
• GCSE English and Maths at grade C or above
• NVQ3 or above in Teaching and Learning Support, Childcare Learning and Development or Teaching Assistant or other equivalent qualification
• Experience of supporting children with ASD
• a proven ability to work on their own initiative
• a high level of communication skills and the ability to relate positively to children and adults
• the ability to use relevant technology/equipment
• a can-do attitude
• a commitment to the happiness well-being, self-esteem and progress of everyone at the school
