Summary

Hours: 19 hours per week, term time only. Wednesday to Friday, 8:40am – 3:15pm.
Salary: Hay 9 (£12,073 - £13,152 per annum).
Please note, this is a temporary post to support a child with EHCP funding that will come to an end when the funding ceases, or the child leaves the school.
Pucklechurch Primary is a wonderful village school between Bristol and Bath. The governors are looking to appoint a dynamic teaching assistant to work in Year 2. The successful applicant must be able to use their initiative, in teaching and supporting children with special educational needs. Support will be needed in the context of the classroom, small groups and 1:1.
Applicants will need to:

- Use strategies to support a pupil in social communication

- use their own initiative to support a specific pupil and gauge when intervention is necessary whilst also developing independence
