Crynodeb
The Royal Free London is one of the largest Hospital Groups in the NHS and was one of NHS England’s Global Digital Exemplars in 2018. RFL has continued to invest in digital services, rolling out Cerner Millenium across the Group in 2021 and with its Chase Farm Hospital being one of only a few NHS hospitals to achieve HIMMS EMRAM Level 7 in 2022. RFL now operates one of the largest EPR shared domains in the NHS with West Herts Teaching Hospitals and continues to roll out the latest Oracle Cerner functionality and is supporting the national direction of expanding EPR shared domains.
You’ll be leading a multi-disciplinary team providing a range of support and development services including the Oracle Health Cerner Millenium platform and many other clinical systems, as well as supporting the digital transformation programme in North Central London and across London. You’ll also be responsible for the delivery of integration services and system access including the Registration Authority (smart card) service. You’ll be managing a team of around 35 staff, plus the Cerner Application Management Servicer (AMS), as well as controlling a sizeable budget.
The role has hybrid working, based at the Royal Free Hospital with travel to other sites as required from time to time.
