A vibrant and happy two-form entry Primary school based in Ealing, W13, requires a special needs teaching assistant to provide 1:1 support for a Key Stage 2 pupil. The role will start ASAP and continue until the end of the next academic year (July 2025)

Job Description

The pupil is a Key Stage 2 pupil with autism (ASD), Challenging Behaviour and EAL.

The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled and experienced SEN teaching assistant, who holds a CACHE Level 3 Certificate (or equivalent). You will be passionate about education, dedicated to enhancing the pupil's learning and able to demonstrate the ability to work independently.

Alongside the staff you will be responsible for safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children and young people.

To be considered for this role you will need:

· Previous SEND experience is essential - ideally ASD and Challenging Behaviour

· CACHE Level 3 or equivalent

· Experience with PECS and Makaton is highly desirable.

· Resilient with a positive attitude

o Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service.
