We are seeking to appoint a confident and reliable Cover Supervisor to be based at Babington Academy.The successful candidate will supervise and teach well-organised, prepared lessons in the absence of teachers across the age and ability range, taking tutor group registration and providing support where necessary. You will have the ability to manage the behaviour of students, motivating and encouraging them to interact and work co-operatively with others whilst ensuring that students are engaged on tasks set. This role may be particularly suitable for a graduate looking for classroom experience prior to undertaking teaching training or equally someone with existing experience within education. We provide a high level of continuing professional development regardless of experience. This post is for 5 days a week (32.5 hours) 39 weeks per year. Minimum Salary grade 4 points 7-10 (Actual salary £18.416.65/or main teacher pay range (dependent upon experience, skills and qualification of applicant).Salary Grade 4 points 7 - 10 £24,294 pro rata to £18,416.65 per annumStrong applications may be considered upon receipt.
