Crynodeb
This post is ideally suited towards candidates considering future subspecialty training in maternal & fetal medicine, whilst maintaining clinical skills through working in busy tertiary and secondary care settings. The post holder will be accountable to the Lead Clinician.
Candidates should be highly motivated to undertake a postgraduate degree and they will be expected to register (and self-fund) an MPhil with the University of Manchester, with the potential to convert this to an MD degree, depending on academic progress. These are also clinical posts and candidates should be at a level expected of an ST3+ trainee. The split between academic and clinical time is 60%/40%. Candidates who are successful at interview will be expected to apply for Out of Program Research (OOPR) if they are currently in a training post.
