Prepare the operating theatre and equipment before surgery. Assist the surgical team during procedures as scrub, circulator, recovery. Monitor patients vital signs and condition throughout the perioperative period. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided. Adhere to infection control and health & safety protocols. Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families. Participate in audits, training, and continuous professional development. Contribute to a culture of teamwork, respect, and clinical excellence. About You The ideal candidate for this role will have First level Registered Nurse / HCPC registered ODP Good level of clinical skills within one or more of the perioperative disciplines Able to provide assistance to all disciplines, including anaesthetist, surgeon prior to, during and following surgical procedures Ability to plan and prioritise own workload Evidence of ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team Knowledge of current practice, research and development within theatre areas Work within the latest Code of Professional Conduct Adaptable to change Working as a team member to provide support and cover for periods of annual leave and sickness Demonstrates attention to detail Self-motivated Enthusiastic and assertive Polite Approachable Please refer to the attached job description for comprehensive information regarding the responsibilities, qualifications, and expectations associated with the position.
