Children's Complex Carer - Female
Where: Bedale DL8
Salary: £15.00 days & £16.00 Waking Nights
Days: Monday to Friday
Hours: 8am-5pm & 9pm-7am

We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Children’s Complex Carer to support a 4‑month‑old baby.
You will be providing 1:1 specialist care in the family home, supporting a young baby with complex medical needs, including:
Tracheostomy care
NG tube feeding
This is a rewarding role where you will play a vital part in supporting the baby’s health, comfort, and development, while working closely with the family to maintain a nurturing home environment and out in the community.

What we are looking for in You:
Kind, reliable, and respectful of professional boundaries
Full UK driving licence
To work both independently and as part of a team.
Flexible, loyal, & trustworthy
Good time management & brilliant communicator
Experience working with children with complex needs (essential)
Key Responsibilities:
Promoting the baby’s comfort, wellbeing, and routine
NG tube feeding and monitoring
Tracheostomy management, including suctioning and emergency care
Skin care
Deliver safe, high‑quality clinical care in line with care plans and training
Clinical interventions as required
Bringing brilliance to the everyday, at Barclay Specialist Care we aim to deliver high quality, clinically led complex care to individuals within their own homes or choice of setting. We strongly believe individuals should have complete choice of their care, activities, and life decisions.
Section 7(2b) of the Sex Discrimination Act 1975 applies that there is a genuine occupational requirement for female staff for this position.
