KeyStage recruitment are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Cover Supervisors to join our team, to work in a variety of schools across Middlesbrough, Stockton-on-Tees, Darlington and Northallerton.
In this role, you will be responsible for covering for absent teachers and providing instruction and support to students.
Responsibilities:
Supervise students and maintain classroom management in the absence of the teacher.
Deliver pre-prepared lessons and ensure students' learning outcomes are met.
Liaise with teachers and other staff to ensure that cover work is properly managed.
Manage students’ behaviour in the classroom.
Requirements:
Relevant experience of working with young people or an interest in pursuing a career in teaching.
A degree or relevant teaching qualifications.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to manage a classroom effectively.
Flexibility and willingness to work across multiple departments and schools.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Own transport and ability to commute within an agreed radius.
