As Deputy Headteacher, you will work in close partnership with the Headteacher to provide strategic leadership and operational management across the school.
You will:
Play a central role in shaping and delivering the school’s vision and strategic priorities
Lead on driving high-quality teaching and learning to ensure consistently excellent outcomes for all pupils
Champion inclusion, ensuring that provision for all groups of learners is exceptional
Use data intelligently to evaluate impact, inform improvement and secure sustained progress
Support, challenge and develop staff to build leadership capacity across the school
Contribute to the successful transition into our new school building, ensuring it enhances learning, wellbeing and community engagement
Act as a positive role model, fostering a culture of collaboration, high expectations and professional integrity
Deputise for the Headteacher as required

We are looking for a leader who:
Has a proven track record of raising standards and improving outcomes
Demonstrates outstanding classroom practice and a deep understanding of effective pedagogy
Is passionate about ensuring every child succeeds, regardless of background or need
Has strong leadership experience and the ability to inspire, motivate and develop others
Uses research and evidence to inform practice, drive improvement and shape strategic thinking across the school
Looks beyond the school to draw on national expertise, research and best practice to strengthen teaching, learning and leadership
Is strategic in thinking yet hands-on in approach
Communicates clearly and builds positive, trusting relationships with pupils, staff, families and governors
Is resilient, reflective and driven by a moral purpose to make a difference
Is excited by the opportunity to help lead a school into a new chapter, including the transition into a new build and the continued strengthening of community partnerships
