Desian Education are proud to be working in collaboration with an extremely inclusive and supportive nursery school in Warrington with an outstanding reputation as they require an experienced and reliable to join their team on a temporary full-time basis.
This is an extremely exciting opportunity to join a well regarded nursery school and play an integral role in the education and development of young learners. Subject to funding, this position will last until the end of next academic year.
Your new position:
As a teaching assistant within this nursery school you will be joining an extremely welcoming and collaborative team of EYFS professionals. You will work in partnership with the class teachers and leadership team to promote the development and engagement of your new pupils by tailoring your approach to best suit their developmental and attainment needs. You will deliver a variety of activities in line with pupils key interests and they EYFS curriculum to promote engagement. As this is an inclusive school there are a number of pupils with SEN and individual ISP/ECHP’s. You will also:
- Support with forest and OPAL activities
- Offer 1:1 support for pupils with SEN including ASD, mobility needs and neurological disorders
- Support with personal/intimate care
- Assist with bassline checks
- Promote social and fine motor development
What you need to succeed:
- Full “Right to Work” in the UK
- Expert knowledge of the EYFS national curriculum with referenceable classroom experience
- Be at least NVQ Level 3 Early Years or equivalent qualified
- Be comfortable supporting young learners with SEN
- Have an Enhanced Children’s DBS certificate or willingness to obtain
