We are seeking a committed and experienced perioperative practitioner to join our PostOperative Recovery team as a Band 6 Deputy Clinical Lead. The role involves delivering highquality postoperative care, supporting the coordination of the Recovery Unit and providing visible clinical leadership within a fastpaced environment. You will contribute to safe staffing, effective theatre flow and maintaining high professional standards. The post holder will also support staff development through teaching, supervision and mentorship, while upholding CTM values and perioperative safety standards. For a more detailed description of the role, please refer to the attached Job Description. Welsh Skills Desirable: This post is advertised as Welsh Desirable. This doesnt mean essential; whilst the candidate doesn't need to have skills in Welsh, we'll consider it an advantage when short-listing and selecting candidates. This isnt fluency, just Speaking & Listening skills at Level 3 (equivalent to CEFR B2) or above. Level 3 means basic conversations with patients about their everyday health. For more information, see Welsh Language Guidance in the documents right at the bottom. The role also contributes to governance, audit, policy development and qualityimprovement activity, ensuring that care delivered within the recovery area reflects CTM standards, national perioperative safety requirements, and the needs of the local population.
