Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Patient Dining Assistant to join our NHS Client. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering high-quality meal service to patients, ensuring their dietary needs are met with professionalism and care. Responsibilities
Serve meals to patients in accordance with prescribed dietary requirements and hospital protocols
Assist with food preparation and plating, ensuring presentation meets quality standards
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of dining areas before, during, and after service
Support the delivery of catering services for special events or patient requests
Ensure food safety procedures are adhered to at all times, including proper handling and storage of food items
Provide friendly and courteous service, fostering a welcoming environment for patients
Collaborate with kitchen staff and healthcare professionals to coordinate meal timings and special dietary needs
Support accurate patient menu ordering and ensure all related documentation is completed and filed.
Requirements
Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality roles is desirable, especially within healthcare or hospital settings
Level 2 Food Hygiene
Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices is essential
Experience in food preparation or restaurant work, including barista experience, is
advantageous
Shifts Available
Monday – Friday:
07:30 – 15:00 (35 hours)
16:00 – 20:00 (20 hours)
Saturday & Sunday
07:30 – 19:00 (21 hours)
