English Teacher Opportunities - Lancashire (KS3/KS4)
We are currently recruiting for English Teachers across the Clitheroe, Lancaster, Accrington, and Blackburn areas for a range of full-time and part-time opportunities, including short-term cover, long-term placements, and ongoing roles.
Locations:
- Clitheroe
- Lancaster
- Accrington
- Blackburn & surrounding areas
We are seeking enthusiastic, dedicated, and committed English Teachers who are confident in delivering engaging and purposeful lessons across KS3 and KS4, supporting students of varying abilities to achieve their full potential.
This includes:
- Planning and delivering high-quality English lessons in line with the KS3/KS4 curriculum
- Marking and assessing student work in accordance with school policies and expectations
- Supporting pupil progress through effective feedback, differentiation, and targeted support
- Maintaining strong classroom management and fostering positive learning environments
- Working collaboratively with English departments and wider school staff to support whole-school outcomes
- Qualified English Teachers (QTS or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the KS3/KS4 English curriculum
- Confidence in planning, delivering, and assessing learning effectively
- Adaptable, reliable, and professional practitioners
- A genuine passion for raising attainment and inspiring young learners
- Flexible full-time and part-time opportunities
- A wide range of placements across local schools
- Day-to-day, short-term, and long-term roles
