Our prestigious client, a well-established worldwide leading brand, is seeking a dedicated Vehicle Technician to join their premium dealership in Newbury. This role is ideal for experienced automotive professionals committed to delivering exceptional service standards within a reputable and well-supported environment.
Benefits for the successful Vehicle Technician:
- Competitive basic salary up to £35,000
- OTE £45,000 including performance-based bonuses
- Monday to Friday working hours, 8am – 5pm
- Saturday mornings on a 1 in 5 rota (8am – 1pm)
- 23 days holiday plus bank holidays

Duties of the Vehicle Technician:
- Conducting service checks and repairs with precision
- Performing diagnostic tests to identify faults
- Carrying out Vehicle Preparation Inspection (PDI) work
- Ensuring all work complies with manufacturer standards and quality
- Maintaining high levels of professionalism and adherence to workshop procedures
- Assisting with other workshop tasks as requested to support team operations
Requirements:
- Full UK Driving Licence
- NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent)
- Proven experience working as a Vehicle Technician
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Motivated to expand technical skills and knowledge
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Committed to maintaining workshop standards and safety protocols
- Good organisational skills for tool and equipment maintenance
