Crynodeb

At Future Schools Trust, our people are at the heart of everything we do. Following the external promotion of a valued colleague, we are pleased to welcome applications for a People and Culture (HR) Officer to join our experienced and supportive team.

This is a fantastic role to develop a broad and meaningful career in People and Culture within a Trust that is deeply committed to its community and driven by a relentless ambition for its young people.

This is a broad, end-to-end role, offering exposure across the full colleague lifecycle, from safer recruitment and onboarding, through employee relations, attendance and wellbeing support, to offboarding. You will also play a key role in supporting payroll processes, maintaining compliance (including the Single Central Register), delivering accurate HR/people reporting, coordinating training, and contributing to the ongoing improvement of people systems and processes.

Working across the Trust, you will build strong and trusted relationships with colleagues at all levels, acting as a key point of contact for people-related matters. In doing so, you will help create a positive, supportive and inclusive working environment where colleagues feel valued and able to thrive.

You will also contribute to initiatives that promote wellbeing, engagement and inclusion, helping to shape the overall colleague experience across the Trust.

What makes this role particularly rewarding is the team around you. You will be joining a collaborative, values-driven People and Culture team that supports one another, shares expertise and is committed to delivering high standards of service with care and professionalism.

If you are a people-centred professional who enjoys building relationships, working collaboratively, and contributing to a positive workplace culture, we would be delighted to hear from you.

Please note that the closing date for applications is Monday 11th May, 12:00pm.

At Future Schools Trust, we are committed to building a workplace that reflects the diversity of the communities we serve. We actively welcome applications from people of all backgrounds, including those who are differently abled, neurodivergent, LGBTQ+, from Black, Asian and minority ethnic communities, and from different religious or belief backgrounds. We value the unique perspectives and experiences that individuals bring and believe they make our organisation stronger. If you require any reasonable adjustments during the recruitment process, we are happy to support you.
