Hours: 35 hours per week (including some evenings and weekends)

About the role
You’ll be a consistent, trusted presence for women with multiple support needs, helping them move towards safety, confidence and independence.
Working across Derby, you’ll provide specialist floating support to women at risk of homelessness. Many will have experienced trauma, domestic abuse, mental ill health or substance misuse. Some may find it hard to engage with services.
That’s where you come in.
Through patience, compassion and professional curiosity, you’ll build strong relationships that help women feel safe, respected and able to move forward.
Driving licence and access to a car essential.

What you’ll be doing
• Providing one-to-one, trauma-informed support in women’s homes and the community
• Supporting women to sustain their accommodation and avoid eviction
• Helping build confidence, independence and daily living skills
• Working alongside partners including housing providers, probation and health services
• Advocating for women and coordinating support around them
• Managing a small caseload with a strengths-based approach
What we’re looking for
• Someone who can build trusting, respectful relationships while maintaining clear boundaries
• Experience supporting people with multiple or complex needs
• An understanding of trauma-informed practice and safeguarding
• A calm, solution-focused approach in challenging situations
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A team player who can also work independently
