Salary: £18.40 per hour
Working Hours:

  • Week 1: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM ⏰
  • Week 2: Monday to Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM (rotating weekly)

    What You’ll Be Doing:
    • Planned & Reactive Maintenance:
      Perform planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical systems, plant, and equipment to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. âš¡
    • Fault Finding & Machine Repairs:
      Diagnose faults in mechanical systems and machinery, swiftly identifying the cause of issues and making the necessary repairs to restore functionality.
    • Boosting Reliability:
      Drive plant reliability improvements by following maintenance schedules and contributing to the development of our CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
    • Technical Precision:
      Read and interpret mechanical engineering drawings, ensuring machinery is correctly assembled, installed, and maintained.
    • Quality & Safety First:
      Keep equipment in top-notch condition and ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards. ✅
    • Team Collaboration:
      Work closely with engineers, management, and fellow technicians to tackle maintenance issues head-on and help improve processes.
    • Installation & Commissioning:
      Be part of the action in installing and commissioning new equipment, ensuring everything is set up and working smoothly from the start. ⚙️
    • Continuous Improvement:
      Proactively monitor quality, part delivery, and system performance to ensure everything is running at its best.
      What We’re Looking For:
      • Experience:
        Proven experience in mechanical maintenance, with a focus on fault finding and mechanical machine repairs, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
      • Skills:
        Ability to read mechanical engineering drawings and work with a range of maintenance tools and equipment. ️
      • Problem-Solver:
        You can quickly identify and diagnose mechanical faults, using your expertise to solve problems efficiently and reduce downtime.
      • Quality & Safety Minded:
        You understand the importance of safety and quality standards and are committed to maintaining a safe, productive work environment. ⚖️
