Join Our Engineering Team

We’re looking for a hands-on Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Kingswinford. This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced, heavy industrial environment where no two days are the same.

You’ll be part of a 2-man engineering team, keeping a 24/7 production facility running efficiently through a mix of planned maintenance, breakdown response, and installation work.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
  
• Responding to breakdowns and faults quickly and effectively
  
• Installing and improving machinery across the site
  
• Working on a variety of industrial equipment
  
• Completing shift reports and maintenance records
  
• Ensuring all work is carried out safely and professionally
  What You’ll Be Working With
  • Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
    
  • Welding, fabrication & burning (oxy/acetylene)
    
  • Slitting & decoiling machinery (desirable)
    
  • Overhead cranes, forklifts & access equipment
    
  • Basic electrical fault finding and installation
    What We’re Looking For
    • Mechanically biased engineer with industrial experience
      
    • Apprenticeship / NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds (preferred)
      
    • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
      
    • Experience in heavy industry
      
    • Basic electrical knowledge (a bonus, not essential)
      
    • Flexible and reliable with a strong work ethic
      Shift Pattern (40 Hours Avg.)
      • Week 1: 6am – 2pm (Mon–Fri)
        
      • Week 2: 8pm – 6am (Mon–Thurs) + £1/hr allowance
        
      • Week 3: 2pm – 12am (Mon–Thurs)
        

        ⚠️ Flexibility is essential to support a 24-hour operation.

        Overtime & Earnings
        • Regular overtime available
          
        • Minimum 1 Saturday in 3 required
          
        • Additional shifts for holiday cover and breakdown support
          
        • Opportunity to earn above base salary
