We are recruiting on behalf of an established plant machinery business based near Sevenoaks who are looking for an experienced Plant Workshop Fitter / Foreman to join their workshop team.
This is a hands‑on role with supervisory responsibility, focused on maintaining high standards of repair, safety, and workflow within a busy workshop environment.
Key Duties- Service, maintain, and repair plant machinery
- Diagnose mechanical and hydraulic faults
- Carry out preventative maintenance
- Ensure equipment meets safety and compliance standards
- Maintain service records and job documentation
- Support and oversee daily workshop activity
- Experience as a Plant / Workshop Fitter
- Strong mechanical and hydraulic knowledge
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics
- Relevant plant maintenance qualifications (preferred)
- Safety‑focused and reliable work ethic
