Hours: 32.5 hrs per week, Term Time only (39 weeks)
8.30am-3.30pm (with 30 minutes lunch break)

The Governing Body and Headteacher are looking to appoint two enthusiastic and highly motivated individuals to work as teaching assistants in our Year 1 and 2 settings across our inclusive, welcoming school that is at the heart of its community.
Severn Primary School is a happy, vibrant, culturally diverse inner-city school with a two-form entry, large nursery and wrap around care provision. It is situated in the Canton area of Cardiff about a mile from the centre of the city.
This role will be based in mainstream classes and will involve:
-supporting pupils in class under the supervision and direction of the class teacher
-working with ALN pupils on specific targets in their IDP
-providing general support to the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom, including preparation, and routine maintenance of resources/equipment.
