Applications are invited for the fixed-term posts of Residential Facilities Runner in the Residential Services Department.
The Residential Facilities Runner supports the delivery of essential services across the University’s halls of residence during the busy summer period. The post holder will carry out basic maintenance and porterage tasks, room checks and assist with the preparation of accommodation for summer schools, and conference guests. Working as part of a team, the post holder will triage and log maintenance issues. This role contributes to ensuring that all residential areas remain clean, safe, functional and ready for occupation.
Basic DIY or maintenance skills, an understanding of health and safety principles and the ability to meet deadlines are important for this role. Experience in a facilities, maintenance or similar environment would be advantageous.
