On behalf of our reputable client, we are seeking a skilled MET Technician to join a respected accident repair centre in Woking, Surrey.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced MET Technicians to work within a professional and supportive environment, offering competitive pay and flexible working arrangements. Duties of the MET Technician:

- Carry out stripping, refurbishing, and fitting of a variety of vehicles in accordance with manufacturer and industry standards
- Perform diagnostic tasks accurately and efficiently
- Ensure high standards of repair work are maintained at all times
- Support team members including painters, panel beakers, and other MET fitters
- Complete job cards and paperwork accurately to reflect work completed as a MET Technician
- Work collaboratively with the workshop team to meet deadlines and targets
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment adhering to health and safety regulations

Requirements:

- Proven experience in mechanical, electrical, and trim (MET) fitting and stripping on various vehicle makes and models
- Own tools and diagnostic equipment
- Relevant qualifications such as ATA/NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or a minimum of three years’ hands-on experience
- Valid UK driving licence
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work confidently both independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork
- Ability to work within a busy environment while meeting targets and deadlines
